Caybl.ai vs Windsor.ai

Windsor.ai is a marketing data-integration platform that moves data from 350+ sources into spreadsheets, BI tools and warehouses, and offers Windsor MCP so AI assistants can query those sources.

Short answer: Choose Windsor.ai if you also need the data in Looker Studio, BigQuery or Sheets, or need many sources - it's also cheaper for a few sources. Choose Caybl.ai if you mainly want to ask Claude or ChatGPT about Google data with tools built for marketing questions, plus Bing, Tag Manager and a built-in assistant.

How setup compares

With Windsor.ai, you connect your data sources in Windsor first, then add Windsor from Claude's connector directory (or as a custom connector) and sign in with your Windsor account. Windsor says all available fields are sent to the assistant automatically, so there's no field mapping to do for AI use.

With Caybl.ai, you sign in with Google, connect the accounts you want, and add Caybl.ai from Claude's directory or as one custom-connector URL in ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code. Neither needs a developer token or a Cloud project.

The practical difference is what sits around the AI connection. Windsor is a full data pipeline - the same connections also feed Looker Studio, Sheets and warehouses. Caybl.ai is only the AI connection, with tools shaped around marketing tasks (wasted search terms, impression share lost to budget, pages Google hasn't indexed) rather than generic field queries.

Pricing in practice: a 3-source example

Take one marketer who wants Google Analytics, Google Ads and Search Console in Claude.

On Windsor.ai, three sources fit the Basic plan at $23/month, or $19/month billed yearly, with MCP included. The free forever plan covers one source. That's cheaper than Caybl.ai for this exact stack, and it includes BI destinations too.

On Caybl.ai, Google Analytics is free and Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Search Console need Pro at $29/month. The same $29 also includes Bing Webmaster Tools, Tag Manager and YouTube, so a fourth, fifth or sixth source costs nothing extra. On Windsor, Standard (7 sources) is $118/month, or $99/month yearly.

Switching from Windsor.ai to Caybl.ai in 5 minutes

1. Go to caybl.ai, sign in with Google and connect Google Analytics (free). On Pro, connect Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Tag Manager or YouTube from the same dashboard - each is a Google or Microsoft consent screen, with no developer token, API key or Cloud project.

2. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and add Caybl.ai from the directory - or add a custom connector with https://api.caybl.ai/mcp. In ChatGPT, add it as a custom MCP server where your plan allows it. In Claude Code, run: claude mcp add --transport http caybl https://api.caybl.ai/mcp

3. Ask the same question you normally ask Windsor.ai, for the same date range, and compare the numbers. Small differences usually come from date ranges, time zones or conversion columns - ask both to state theirs.

4. If your Google Ads account should stay read-only, turn off 'Allow changes' on that account in your Caybl.ai dashboard before asking for fixes.

5. Keep Windsor if your Looker Studio dashboards or warehouse loads depend on it. Caybl.ai doesn't replace a data pipeline; it sits beside it for the questions you ask in Claude or ChatGPT.

What Caybl.ai doesn't do

Caybl.ai doesn't send data to Looker Studio, Sheets, Power BI or a warehouse, and doesn't keep a copy of your data for later analysis. It covers eight sources rather than hundreds: no Meta (coming soon), TikTok, LinkedIn, Shopify or CRM data. If you need a pipeline or a long tail of sources, Windsor.ai does more.

When Windsor.ai is the better choice

  • You need the same data in Looker Studio, Sheets or a warehouse.
  • You need sources Caybl.ai doesn't cover yet, such as Meta, TikTok or Shopify.
  • You want the lowest price for two or three sources.

When Caybl.ai is the better choice

  • You want answers in Claude or ChatGPT and nothing else to maintain.
  • You want marketing-specific tools for Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Search Console and Bing, not generic field queries.
  • You want Google Analytics free and Bing, Tag Manager and YouTube without paying per source.
  • You want a built-in assistant for teammates who don't use Claude or ChatGPT.
