Can you connect Bing Webmaster Tools to Claude?
Yes. Claude reads Bing Webmaster Tools through a connector built on MCP, the open standard Claude uses for outside data. Caybl.ai is a hosted connector: you sign in to Bing from the Caybl.ai dashboard, the same way you’d sign in to any app, and there’s no API key to find, copy or keep safe.
Steps
Sign in to Caybl.ai
Open your dashboard and click Connect next to Bing Webmaster Tools.
Sign in to Bing
With the Microsoft, Google or Facebook login you use for Bing Webmaster Tools, then approve access.
Add the endpoint
Copy it from your dashboard into Claude’s Settings → Connectors.
Ask
“Is Bing having trouble crawling any of our pages?”
What Bing Webmaster Tools adds
Search Console shows how Google sees your site. Bing Webmaster Tools shows the same for Bing: what people searched, which pages showed up, and whether Bing could crawl and index them. That matters beyond Bing’s own search results. Bing’s index also feeds Microsoft Copilot, and other AI assistants use Bing for web results, so a page Bing hasn’t indexed is harder for them to find.
Bing’s API also includes two things Google’s doesn’t offer for free: backlink data, meaning which pages link to yours and with what anchor text, and keyword search volume without needing a Google Ads account.
What you can ask
- Queries“What do people search on Bing to find us, and which pages rank for each?”
- Crawl“Is Bing having trouble crawling any of our pages?”
- Index“Is our new pricing page in Bing’s index yet?”
- Backlinks“Who links to our pricing page, and with what anchor text?”
- Keywords“How much search demand is there for ‘google analytics mcp’, and what related terms are bigger?”
- Act“We just published three new guides - submit them to Bing.”
- Cross-reference“Compare our top queries on Bing and Google - where do we rank on one but not the other?”
“Compare our top queries on Bing and Google - where do we rank on one but not the other?”
“‘ga4 mcp server’ gets 300 Google impressions at position 6 but none on Bing. Bing hasn’t indexed /guides/ga4-mcp-server yet. Want me to submit it?”
Illustrative example - not real account data.
No site in Bing Webmaster Tools yet?
The quickest route is Bing’s own Import from Google Search Console at bing.com/webmasters. It adds and verifies your sites in about a minute. Alternatively, ask Claude to add the site: it gives you a DNS record, meta tag or file to prove you own it, then verifies it once that’s in place. Bing usually starts showing data for a newly added site within a day or two.
Is my Bing data safe?
Caybl.ai uses Bing’s own sign-in and consent screen, so you never handle an API key. Your Bing access is stored encrypted, and disconnecting from your dashboard removes it. Claude can read your data and, if you allow it, submit URLs or sitemaps and add or verify a site. It can’t remove sites, block pages or change crawl settings. More on how Caybl.ai handles your data.

Yes. Claude reads Bing Webmaster Tools through a connector built on MCP, the open standard Claude uses for outside data, and Caybl.ai is a hosted one. You sign in to Bing once from the Caybl.ai dashboard, add the Caybl.ai endpoint to Claude, and Claude can query your Bing data directly. There's no API key to copy.
Bing's index also feeds Microsoft Copilot, and other AI assistants use Bing for web results. Whether Bing has crawled and indexed a page affects whether those assistants can find it, so Bing is worth checking even when its own share of clicks is small.
Which Bing searches show your site and which pages rank for them, whether Bing is crawling the site and which URLs it has problems with, whether a specific page is in Bing's index, who links to your site and with what anchor text, and how much search demand a keyword gets.
Three narrow ones, all optional: submitting new or updated URLs for indexing, submitting a sitemap, and adding and verifying a site in your Bing account. You can turn changes off for the whole connection, or per site, from your dashboard. It can't remove sites, block URLs or change crawl settings.
The quickest route is Bing's own "Import from Google Search Console", which adds and verifies your sites in about a minute. Or ask Claude to add the site: it returns a DNS record, meta tag or file to prove ownership, then verifies it once that's in place.
Not yet. Bing shows Copilot citations in its AI Performance report, but Microsoft hasn't made that report available through its API. Caybl.ai will add it when they do.
