How to connect Google Search Console to Claude

Search Console will connect to Claude the same way Google Analytics and Google Ads already do - built and being tested now, ahead of general availability.

Status: Not yet open to everyone. Search Console support is built and in private testing while its Google OAuth scope goes through verification - the same review Analytics and Ads both went through before launch. Connect Google Analytics (or just GA4) or Google Ads today; Search Console follows once verification clears.

What Search Console adds

Analytics tells you what visitors did once they landed. Ads tells you what you paid for a click. Search Console is the piece in between: what people actually searched, which of your pages showed up for it, and whether Google even indexed the page properly in the first place - including how it appears in the newer AI Overview and AI Mode results, not only the classic blue-link listing.

What you’ll be able to ask

  • Diagnose“Which queries bring the most impressions but the worst click-through rate?”
  • Index“Is this page actually indexed, and what does Google think its canonical is?”
  • AI visibility“Which pages are showing up in AI Overviews, and how does that compare to their normal ranking?”
  • Act“Resubmit the sitemap now that I’ve updated this page.”
  • Cross-reference“Cross-reference our best-performing search queries with what converts in Analytics.”

Why the wait

Search Console’s API needs a Google-verified OAuth scope before it can be offered to every customer, not just an internal test account - the same requirement Analytics’ write access and the Ads connector both had to clear first. Caybl.ai submits verification requests one at a time rather than in parallel, so this one starts once the current submission is approved. The connector itself isn’t the bottleneck; the review is.

Get Analytics and Ads connected in the meantime

Search Console will slot in alongside them once it’s available - no separate setup needed.
