Can’t add a custom connector in Claude or ChatGPT?
On most work accounts, admins decide which connectors you can add. Ask yours to approve Caybl.ai, or ask the same questions inside Caybl.ai today - no connector needed.
Why can’t I add a custom connector?
Usually because your organisation has restricted them. On Claude Team and Enterprise, and on ChatGPT Business and Enterprise workspaces, owners and admins control which connectors members may add - and many organisations limit custom connectors or turn them off altogether. If the option is missing, greyed out, or fails with a permissions message on your work account, that’s almost always the reason. It isn’t something Caybl.ai can change from our side.
Personal accounts are different: there you’re the admin, so the guides for Claude and ChatGPT work as written.
How to ask your admin
Admins approve connectors faster when the request answers their questions up front. Send them these four things:
One endpoint

OAuth only
Each person signs in through OAuth in the browser. No passwords or API keys are shared.
Read and write are separate
Changes can be switched off per connected account, leaving read-only access.
Fetched, not stored
Caybl.ai fetches the data needed to answer a question and stores none of it.
