Ask
“Which of my videos did best this month, and why?”
What Claude can see
The same analytics as YouTube Studio, across every video at once: views and watch time over any period, top videos, Shorts against long-form, where views come from, the search terms people typed on YouTube to find you, who watches, and where viewers stop watching each video. For monetized channels it can also see estimated revenue, RPM and which videos earn the most.
Connect Google Analytics as well and Claude can see which videos send people to your website and whether they buy or sign up. With Search Console, it can compare what people search on YouTube with what they search on Google.
What you can ask
- Overview“How’s my channel doing compared with last month?”
- Search“What do people search on YouTube to find my videos?”
- Retention“Where do viewers drop off in my most-watched video?”
- Shorts“Do Shorts or long videos bring more subscribers?”
- Website“Which videos send the most visitors to our website?”
- Revenue“Which videos earned the most last month, and what’s my RPM?”
“Which videos send people to our website, and do they buy?”
“YouTube sent 1,240 sessions in the last 90 days, 4% of the site’s traffic. The pour-over guide sent 520 of them and 31 orders. The latte art video gets more views but sends almost nobody, because its description has no link.”

Yes. Claude reads YouTube through a connector built on MCP, the open standard Claude uses for outside data, and Caybl.ai is a hosted one. You sign in with Google once from the Caybl.ai dashboard, pick your channel, add Caybl.ai from Claude's connector directory, and Claude can query your channel's analytics directly. There's no API key or Google Cloud project.
Your channel's own analytics, the same numbers as YouTube Studio: watch time, average view duration, traffic sources, search terms, audience and retention. Public view counts are included too.
No. Caybl.ai only asks Google for read-only YouTube access, so it can't upload, edit, delete or comment.
Yes, if the channel is in the YouTube Partner Program: estimated revenue, RPM and the videos that earn most, in your currency if you ask. Channels that aren't monetized have no revenue to show.
