YouTube Studio is good at one video at a time. The questions that decide what to make next cut across all of them: which topics hold attention, what people search to find you, whether Shorts bring subscribers, where viewers give up. With Caybl.ai connected, your AI answers those in one go - and with Google Analytics connected too, it can see which videos send people to your website and whether they convert.

Your options for a YouTube MCP server
| Setup | Access | Hosting | Best for | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Public-data YouTube MCP servers | Install locally, create a YouTube Data API key | Public data only: titles, view counts, comments - not your channel's analytics | Your machine | Researching other channels' public videos |
| Your own script on the YouTube Analytics API | Google Cloud project, OAuth client, code | Anything the APIs allow | Wherever you run it | Custom reporting pipelines |
| Caybl.ai (hosted) | Sign in with Google, add one URL to Claude or ChatGPT | Read-only | Already running (EU region) | Creators and marketers who want answers about their own channel in plain English, next to their website data |
Google doesn't publish an official YouTube MCP server. Most community servers read public data with an API key, which is fine for researching other channels but can't see your own watch time, traffic sources or retention. Caybl.ai signs in to your channel with Google's own consent screen, read-only.

Not the video itself - Claude can't watch or listen to footage. What it can do with Caybl.ai is read your channel's data from YouTube: each video's title, publish date, length and stats, plus views, watch time, retention, traffic sources, the YouTube searches that found you and revenue. That's enough to answer most 'which videos work and why' questions without watching anything.
No. Caybl.ai asks Google only for read-only YouTube access. It can't upload, edit, delete or comment.
Yes, for channels in the YouTube Partner Program: estimated revenue, ad revenue, RPM, CPM and your top-earning videos, in your currency if you ask. Channels that aren't monetized simply have no revenue to show.
Yes. Google connects one channel at a time, so connect each one from the dashboard (Add another channel), then tell your AI which one you mean.
YouTube Analytics usually runs two to three days behind, so reports end three days ago by default. Lifetime view counts on videos are close to live.
