MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to call outside tools. A Meta Ads MCP server exposes Meta's Marketing API as tools, so “which ad sets burned budget without a lead last week?” runs against your real ad account instead of a CSV export.
What works today
The Meta Ads connector isn’t live yet. Caybl.ai already connects Google Analytics, Google Ads and Search Console to Claude and ChatGPT with one Google sign-in, so you can ask the cross-channel questions below for those sources now.
What you’ll be able to ask about Meta Ads
- Cross-channel“Which was cheaper per lead last month, Google Ads or Meta Ads?”
- Waste“Which Meta ad sets spent money last week without producing a lead or a sale?”
- Creative“Which ads show falling click-through rate and rising frequency, so the creative looks tired?”
- Attribution“Meta says it drove 120 sign-ups. How many sessions and sign-ups does GA4 show from Meta?”
- Budget“Where should the next euro go this month: Google search, Meta prospecting or Meta retargeting?”
Your options for a Meta Ads MCP server
| Setup | Access | Hosting | Best for | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meta's own Ads MCP server | Add mcp.facebook.com/ads as a custom connector and sign in with Facebook | Reporting and campaign management; check the permissions on Meta's consent screen | Hosted by Meta; open beta since 29 April 2026, free during the beta | A Meta-only advertiser who wants the platform's own server and is fine with beta terms |
| Third-party Meta Ads MCP servers | Usually an account with the vendor plus a Meta connection, or a local install with your own token | Varies: some read-only, some can edit campaigns | Hosted by the vendor, or your own machine | Teams already using that vendor for reporting or data pipelines |
| Caybl.ai (coming soon) | Planned: one Facebook sign-in alongside your Google sign-in, then one URL in Claude or ChatGPT | Planned: read first, with any changes previewed before they apply | Hosted (EU region) | People who run Google Ads and Meta together and want one answer across both, checked against GA4 |
If you only advertise on Meta, start with Meta's own server: it is free and made by the platform. Caybl.ai's Meta connector is for advertisers who also run Google Ads or care about GA4: one conversation covers every channel, so you can compare cost per lead across them and check Meta's reported conversions against what Analytics recorded. It isn't live yet, so today the same questions work for Google Analytics, Google Ads and Search Console.

Yes, through Meta's own MCP server or a third-party one. Add it as a custom connector in Claude, then sign in with Facebook. You can run it alongside Caybl.ai for your Google data.
Yes. “Facebook Ads MCP” and “Meta Ads MCP” describe the same thing: an MCP server for the ad account behind Facebook and Instagram advertising.
Meta's server only knows Meta. Caybl.ai already holds your Google Analytics, Google Ads and Search Console connections, so one question can span them, such as cost per lead on Google versus Meta, or Meta's reported conversions versus GA4's. The Meta connector is still to come.
