The number of users who interacted with your site or app for the first time during the date range.

Good to know

Counts new identifiers, not new people: a returning visitor on a new device, a different browser, or after clearing cookies is counted as new again. On a property with a lot of cross-device or privacy-conscious traffic, this metric runs higher than "actual new humans."
