Can you connect Google Analytics to Claude?
Yes. Claude cannot reach Google Analytics on its own, but it supports custom connectors built on MCP, and Caybl.ai is a hosted one. You authorize access to your property once, add a single endpoint to Claude, and Claude can run reports against your data from then on. There is nothing to install and no key file to manage.
Does Claude connect to Google Analytics by default?
No. Google Analytics is not one of Claude’s built-in connectors, so a connector has to be added before Claude can see any of your data. That is the one-time setup below, and it takes about two minutes. Is my Google Analytics data safe?
Caybl.ai uses Google’s Analytics scope through the standard Google consent screen - you never paste a token. That scope lets it run reports and, when asked, mark a key event or link a Google Ads account - it can't touch anything else in your property. Disconnecting in your dashboard revokes access. Through a connector, yes. Claude supports custom connectors built on MCP. Caybl.ai is that connector: you authorize access to your GA4 property once and Claude can then run reports and answer questions about your data.
You need a Claude plan that supports custom connectors. You add Caybl.ai's endpoint once under Settings → Connectors and it stays available across your conversations.
Only if you ask for it, and only in two narrow ways: Caybl.ai can mark a GA4 event as a key event, or link a Google Ads account to your property, when your agent asks it to. It can't change any other GA settings or your website.
You don't export anything. Caybl.ai fetches the live data on demand, so you can ask follow-up questions and Claude pulls fresh numbers each time instead of reading a stale screenshot.
